Add wine fridge to an unused peninsula base cabinet, which faces the dining area
Replace the old chandelier with a bright, modern fixture
Paint walls, ceiling and trim in kitchen, dining area and adjacent spare room
Install clerestory window between the spare room and dining room:
the addition of a window at the top of an interior partition enables natural light to
reach the interior of the space from the exterior windows.
Here, it creates brighter, more spacious rooms without the need for more artificial light or
for the costly removal of walls.
This is a "green", low-impact renovation solution.
