His bathroom had undergone a modern transformation by another design professional several years before I came into the picture.
Clad from floor to ceiling in serene blue, the Italian glass tiles needed repair and the exotic wood sink was cracked and beyond saving.
In need of a few improvements, we included His bath in An Urban Renewal.
The cantilevered wood sink/shelf unit was removed, creating more space within the shower. In its place, a sleek stainless steel basin shines from beneath luminescent, synthetic white granite, suspended from the wall.
Wire shelves, tucked neatly into a corner, hold shampoo, soap and shaving essentials. A simple spray panel, neatly tucked beneath the soffit above,
divides the shower and sink area into separate bathing zones.
A halogen light fixture bathes the space with brighter light, made softer by a frosted glass shade.
This bathroom is now a sleek, functional space for the lucky man who inhabits it ... for many years to come.
